We teach the next generation the important basics of how to use and create with immersive technology. They are the industry's future developers and content creators. We give them the tools to exceed their expectations. Our think tank/incubator will examine best practices for educating, retaining and encouraging career paths for students underrepresented in the technology sector.

We will work with our collective of professionals, academics, students and consumers to innovate and invest in the hardware and software that will help continue to make immersive technology an integral part of our lives. Our reach goes beyond the normal hubs and our approach makes the end user an important cog.

Content Creation

The importance of great content can never be overstated. What is innovative hardware and software without the content? Immersive technology opens the door to diverse areas of content creation from entertainment through the every day innovations that make our lives easier and more livable.

Revenue Streams

We are constantly exploring the way these technologies can create revenue. Hardware has been the biggest early revenue generator, but as we identify the ways to make money from content, advertising and other vehicles we will define new revenue streams and refurbish old ones.

What's The Plan

We are entering a new technology frontier. Immersive technologies (augmented, mixed and virtual reality) will be multi-billion dollar industries that are integral parts of our lives. There is an issue. Their developmental blueprint seems all too familiar. Same people, doing the same things in the same ways. We see a different paradigm.
The Impact Immersive Fund will be used to build a complete infrastructure through investment in diverse people and businesses, while implementing programming that plans for the future.
Our goals are to:
  • Incorporate giving to productive not-for-profits that help further our agenda and investment in commercially viable products, creative and services under one roof
  • Create R&D centers that address four important areas specific to the immersive technology world (hardware/software, content, revenue, training/education)
  • Develop a collective of qualified professionals, burgeoning talent and the next generation of industry impactors
  • Bring in diverse talent that includes groups underrepresented (gender, racial, ethnic and socioeconomic) in the technology sector
  • Work with innovative individuals and companies that are founded outside of traditional tech corridors.
